Expanded Museum Exhibits!

Please visit our expanded Broomfield Veterans Memorial Museum at 12 Garden Ctr,  Broomfield, CO 80020-7036. We are excited to show you new exhibits, our updated Honor Board, and look forward to welcoming you to our museum to learn more about our local veterans and military history

Yearly on Veteran’s Day, November 11th, 2014

This annual ceremony honors and celebrates the service of past veterans and current military personnel with speeches, song, and tributes. Held on Veteran’s Day in the City of Broomfield, this event is an honored tradition which is attended by several hundred residents and visitors. Share in this event by attending this year’s ceremony on Veteran’s Day, November 10, 2014 at the Broomfield High School Auditorium at 10 am.

Ceremony and  Picnic:

May 26th, 2014

Annual event hosted by the Broomfield Veterans Memorial Museum and Broomfield Rotary held at Broomfield Commons from 11am-1pm on Memorial Day. Join us at the Broomfield Commons  to see displays from the Broomfield Veterans Memorial Museum, local music, and food for sale from the Broomfield Lions Club.

Memorial Day Schedule

Flag Day Retirement Ceremony:

Flag Day June 14th, 2014

Saturday June 14th 10am

This ceremony held in conjunction with the North Metro Fire District, retires flags from the Broomfield Community which have been dropped off to the museum. An official ceremony according to military tradition is held and flags are retired with assistance of museum staff, community members, and firefighters. If you have a flag to be retired, please feel free to drop it off at the museum, or watch for official collection times in the Broomfield Enterprise one month in advance of the ceremony.
